Finding the right Career path (for me)!!!

What is your passion/interests?

Do you have a passion or just interests? I noticed that I have plenty of interests but not a passion. If you can find a career that is your passion, I guarantee you that your life is going to be so much better than just working a job for financial gains.

One of the things I learned is the importance of finding out who I am when searching for jobs. As an introvert I know that working in customer service or a call center was not for me. It took me years to figure out the things that I detest versus the things I enjoy.

Wait! Ask yourself: is this the right career path for me?
Ask yourself a few questions

So, before you apply for the next job or decide to invest time, money or energy into a certain career do lots of research. How important is the compensation the employers are willing to pay you? Is it a flexible career? Can you see yourself in this career field for the next five years? Would you be happy? Most importantly ask yourself: is this the right career for me?

Take a few career & personality tests online
Personality & career tests online

They are career and personality tests online that you can take to determine which career paths is best for you. I have taken a few tests and I can confidently say that I had more clarity and ideas of what I wanted to do. An extrovert is not going to be happy working behind a desk and not interacting with people. An introvert is not going to happy interacting with people all day. A person that likes the outdoors is not going to be in their element if they must work inside. These are just a few tips to make you think.

Do your research!
